The Bike Base + Modules
The TWIST Bike Base from FIDLOCK is ultra thin, allowing it to fit on even the narrowest frame gaps. And, with FIDLOCK's variable size water bottles, you can pick the right size bottle for your frame.
This magnetic base easily fits any standard mounting threads on bikes, and it boasts an ultra-light weight of 16 grams (0.56 oz).
The smallest combination for the bike base + bottle is our TWIST bottle 450 + bike base combo. The dimensions that a small bottle can fit in on a frame are 6 and 3/4" x 3 and 1/2" (17.14CM x 8.9CM).
The larger combination that allows you to carry more water is our TWIST bottle 600 + bike base combo. The 600 bottle + base dimensions are 8 and 3/4" x 3 and 1/4" (22.23CM x 8.26CM).
The Uni Base + Modules
There are several reasons why someone would want to use the TWIST Uni Base. If your frame’s thread inserts for cages are blocked or non-existent, the Uni Base has you covered.
Secured with the help of two rubber-backed, adjustable zip ties, the uni base will secure itself to virtually any part of a bike frame.
Once secured, the all the same FIDLOCK modules (any bottle or our universal connector) are useable with the base.

If you’re not positive which base will work best for your frame, run through the following troubleshooting steps.
- Check if your bike frame has threaded mounts for a cage or bottle holder.
- If so, you’re likely a candidate for our standard Bike Base, but it may be worth checking that the threads are 1.7” (43mm) apart.
- If your bike doesn’t have threads, or if the threads are not 1.7” (43mm) apart, you’re a candidate for our uni base.
