TWIST Bike Base

I recently purchased a small Fidlock bottle with the straps to mount it to my mountain bike. Nothing wrong with the bottle or mounts, but it just didn't work well for me. Decided to pick up this mount to put on another bike, along with a replacement bottle and moved the mount on the other bottle to this new one. Sounds complex I guess, but end result is I was able to use the modular design to add Fidlock to another bike without as much investment. So kudos to Fidlock for making things interchangeable!

Works great but can you change the base to accept standard screws? I tried to install a Knog bike alarm underneath which uses tamper proof screws ( they have the same head diameter as standard screws) that don’t fit into your groove on the base. And any chance to anodize your scews black and make them a little shorter? They hit the battery in the downtube underneath and only work with washers.

I ended up ordering the wrong base, needed the one that has the straps. So the bike U was putting it in did not have the holes for it. It's all good, with my engineering brain 😜 I used some heavy duty double sided 3m tape and it seems to be holding the base on just fine.
