Have it on my all mountain canyon and have put it through jumps, rock gardens and stepdowns. Hasnt come off once and you dont hear the bottle move at all.
Clips in easy in place when you need it and stay even during rough downhill runs.
This thing is awesome.
I have 2 fidlock bottles with the flip cap and both leak all over my bike when they are more than half full. My frame then get covered in dirt attracting stickiness
I had 2 of these,..............
The 1st one cracked when It slipped out of my hand bounced off my foot and dropped about 8 feet onto rock it was full and split at a crease where the clip was molded into it... Awesome..;-(
The 2nd one literally split open when it fell off my hood while getting ready for a ride it was full of water it was a a cold ass morning and the thing cracked open split right under the clip and down to the bottom...
These are WAY over priced for how freekin delicate they are. I've dropped and kicked water bottles at speed from Camelback or Specialized for years with no issues ... These fidlock bottles are stiff and hard to squeeze even on a warm day and if it's cold or they are full and are dropped they can't handle it... they didn't last 8 months and I don't get to ride 2x a week no matter how much I try. Worst new product I've tried last 2-,3 years easily. Spent like $60+! On these for both my bikes & I feel ripped off..
Fidlock needs to figure this system out. The pull tab is fabric and connected to plastic "D ring". The tab doesn't pull out by power of hand after time, and you literally need to use pliers to pull it out. Super frustrating on trail and off. Today the plastic broke off. Need better system.
Hey Jeremy,

It's worth noting that the maximum size of this bag is without a case, so just keep that in mind. Other than that, it's solid, easy to use once you get used to it (my phone is the maximum 6.5in so I really have to stuff it in there), magnetic waterproof closure, good stuff!
I use the TWIST Magnetic-
Mechanical Bottle
Holder on my Water pack for easy access to even more hydration when I need it.. Works great when attached to the pack shoulder strap... Love this product..
I have been using the Twist 600 Bottles for years now and they have been absolutely awesome. Easy to use and haven't lost one yet, never fall off.
The bottle shape and function is perfect except for the play between the bottle and the twist adapter. The bottle wobbles around on the adapter so much that I can hear it flopping and rattling on the trail. I’ve examined and reinstalled the adapter several times to ensure proper application. It’s just not a tight fit.
One of the best bottles I have use. It stays lock without coming loose through trails that are technical and chunky
Greetings :) I wanted to wait for a year before submitting my full review. With 100+ enduro rides using my 650ml bottle, I was impressed the bottle has never fallen out once when flying down very rugged trails. I’m no longer skeptical of the mounting design. This cageless technology not only offers you an option to install bottles in tight spaces, it also gives your bike a clean slick look. I do want to mention this works better for bottles mounted higher on the bike’s downtube or toptube. Mine is mounted low on the downtube… when you are pedaling hard, snapping the bottle back on its mount can be a challenge. I find myself having to look down which can be dangerous when riding. It is easier to slide a bottle down a standard cage holder. When you do drop the bottle because it did not snap on, you will find yourself cursing having to stop and go back to pick up the bottle. It is what it is and I’m sticking with it for the slick look and design :)
Fit my frame perfectly pretty sure it rattles a bit but nowni can carry 3 water bottles and a hydration pack on big days
I was excited to mount this vacuum system on my fat tire bike. I finally figured out how to install it. The second time going out for a ride, I had to come to an abrupt stop and my iPhone flies off the mount. I didn’t fall off my bike, nor was it anything major to warrant the phone coming detached from the mount. Now I’m a little nervous about riding with my phone mounted.
This bottle and attachement systems is awesome. Great for frames with limited space and use of traditional bottle cages. I love mine.
